RABAT, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- A train derailed in northern Morocco on Thursday, leaving 46 injured, local sources told Xinhua.
The train, running from the northeastern city of Oujda to the southwestern city of Marrakech, derailed near Fes, about 200 km east of the capital Rabat.
The 46 injured were taken to hospitals in Fes, according to the sources.
Morocco's transportation authorities have begun an investigation into the causes of the accident.
