Nepal calls off search for missing

Nepalese rescue workers have completed searching for missing climbers from Canada and France who were buried by an avalanche.

According to a representative of the local police and rescue forces it is presumed that the climbers are dead. However, French rescuers are going to continue searching for the lost climbers.

It was reported that seven climbers and Nepalese guide were killed in avalanches near the summit of Mount Everest on the border of Nepal and China. Among them, four citizens of France, Spain, Germany and Italy.

13 more climbers were rescued and three are still missing.
