Vietnam's 13th National Assembly to convene 4th session
HANOI, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's 13th National Assembly (NA) will convened its fourth session on Oct. 22, which will last through Nov. 22, in capital Hanoi, announced Nguyen Hanh Phuc, chairman of NA Office in a press conference on Friday.
At this session, the NA will discuss and approve two resolutions, nine draft laws including Law on State Reserve, Law on the Capital City and Law on Anti-corruption (amended), and give opinion to seven draft laws, said Phuc.
Out of two resolutions to be passed by NA during the session, the one on holding votes of confidence on people whose titles are elected or ratified by the NA or the People's Councils is expected to draw great attention from the public.
The NA will also review the Government's reports on the implementation of socio-economic development plan and State budget in 2012; plans on socio-economic development, state budget estimation, allocation of central budget and increase of local budgets for 2013; and economic restructuring scheme among others.
NA deputies will also hear report on the implementation of the NA resolutions on the question and answer activity at the previous second and third sessions.
Besides, the NA will consider and adopt the Resolution on over- sighting program of the NA in 2013.
