The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said in its latest report on Saturday that the number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon has reached 106,280.
"Nearly 77,000 Syrian refugees are currently registered at the UNHCR, in addition to 30,000 refugees who are waiting to be registered," said the report.
A total of 41,648 Syrians are registered in northern Lebanon, 32,217 in the Bekaa and 3,149 in Beirut.
The UN refugee agency expects the tally of Syrian refugees in Lebanon to leap to 120,000 by the end of 2012.
