Two police officers were slightly wounded Saturday night in an armed attack on a police station in Istanbul of Turkey, local media Hurriyet News reported.
Two militants threw a grenade, which failed to explode, at the police station, and then opened fire with assault rifles at the police officers.
The police captured a female suspect, while the other managed to escape.
The police conducted a controlled explosion of the grenade after the attack. An investigation is undertaken to identify those responsible for the attack.
