Vietnam, Hungary ink deal to boost auditing cooperation

HANOI, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- The State Audit of Vietnam and Hungary signed a cooperation agreement here on Tuesday to boost ties between the two agencies.

Domokos Lszl, president of the State Audit Office of Hungary and Auditor General of the State Audit of Vietnam Dinh Tien Dung expressed their hope that the two sides will continue to expand cooperation in areas of mutual concern and exchange of experience and training.

After the signing, Domokos Lszl met with Nguyen Sinh Hung, chairman of Vietnam's National Assembly (NA).

Hung affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to the cooperation with traditional friends, including Hungary for the development of both countries.

Hung proposed the two sides to further strengthen cooperation to improve auditing activities in both countries.

The two sides also agreed to promote cooperation in anti- corruption, environment auditing, and auditors and official training.
