NEW DELHI, March 29 (Xinhua) -- Bangladeshi Army chief General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan will visit India next week, sources said Friday.
"General Bhuiyan will arrive in India on April 1. He will lead a delegation to this country. During his four-day tour, he would hold talks with Indian Defense Minister A.K. Antony, Indian Army chief General Bikram Singh, Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal N.A.K. Browne and Indian Navy chief Admiral D.K. Joshi," the sources said.
India is helping Bangladesh with "building capacity" of the Bangladeshi military, including imparting training, conducting exercises and providing military supplies and technology.
