TEHRAN, May 27 (Xinhua) -- The aerospace force of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps took a delivery of mass-produced new long-range missile launchers, Tehran Times daily reported on Monday.

The surface-to-surface missile launchers, manufactured by the Iran Aviation Industries Organization of the Defense Ministry, were delivered in a ceremony held here on Sunday.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi told reporters the mass delivery of the launchers is a manifestation of the might of Iran and its self- sufficiency in designing and manufacturing this strategic system, according to the report.

The minister said "Iran is not seeking confrontation with anyone and will not begin a war or a conflict, but it will also not allow any act of aggression and hostility."
