Argentina adds 372 COVID-19 deaths

BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- Argentina on Thursday reported 372 more deaths from COVID-19, pushing the national tally to 30,442, according to the Ministry of Health.

The ministry also reported 13,267 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide count to 1,143,800 with 946,134 recoveries.

Buenos Aires province has so far registered 543,181 infections, remaining the worst hit among all provinces.

On Thursday, Health Minister Gines Gonzalez Garcia said the situation is improving in the country.

Argentina registered its first COVID-19 case on March 3. The country has extended its isolation and social distancing measures until Nov. 8. Enditem
