Belize's PM tests positive for coronavirus

MEXICO CITY, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- Belize's Prime Minister John Briceno has tested positive for COVID-19, the prime minister's office said in a statement Monday.

"Prime Minister Briceno will remain in isolation for the next two weeks, after which he will be re-tested," it added.

According to a real-time count kept by Johns Hopkins University, Belize has reported 5,183 COVID-19 cases and 116 deaths.
