KABUL, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Several people were either killed or wounded in a bomb blast rocking an education center in western neighborhood of Afghanistan's capital of Kabul on Saturday, a witness said.
"We heard a huge blast at an education center in Pul-e-Khushk locality of Dashti Barchi area roughly at 4:30 p.m. local time. The explosion triggered panic and the whole place has now been sealed off," eyewitness Mohammad Nabi told Xinhua.
Rescue teams, police and security forces rushed to the spot as several people were affected by the incident, he said.
Kabul police spokesman Ferdaus Faramarz told reporters via a text message that "an explosion occurred in Police District 13 of Kabul Saturday and details will be shared with media as appropriate."
No group has claimed responsibility for the incident yet. Enditem
