JAKARTA, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 11,287 within one day to 907,929, with the death toll adding by 220 to 25,987, the Health Ministry said on Sunday.
According to the ministry, 9,102 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 736,460.
The virus has spread to all the country's 34 provinces.
Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 3,395 new cases, Central Java 1,855, West Java 1,491, East Java 974 and South Sulawesi 674.
No more new positive cases were found in West Sulawesi province. Enditem
