KABUL, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Afghanistan's Public Health Ministry reported seven new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, raising the total nationwide infections to 55,847, including 4,029 active cases.
The pandemic has so far claimed 2,449 lives in Afghanistan since February last year.
According to the ministry, more than 307,000 COVID-19 tests for the virus have been carried out in Afghanistan as of Saturday. Enditem
