JAKARTA, June 15 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 8,161 within one day to 1,927,708, with the death toll adding by 164 to 53,280, the Health Ministry said Tuesday.
According to the ministry, 6,407 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 1,757,641.
The virus has spread to all the country's 34 provinces.
Specifically, within the past 24 hours, West Java recorded 1,793 new cases, Central Java 1,658, Jakarta 1,502, East Java 499 and Yogyakarta 438. Enditem
