Singapore reports 807 COVID-19 cases

SINGAPORE, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Singapore reported on Wednesday 807 new cases of COVID-19 infection, bringing the total tally in the city-state to 73,938.

Of the new cases, 770 are in the community, 34 in the migrant worker dormitories and the other three are imported ones, the Ministry of Health said in a press release.

A total of 822 cases are currently warded in hospitals. There are currently 76 cases of serious illness requiring oxygen supplementation, and nine in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU), said MOH.

Over the last 28 days, the percentage of the unvaccinated who became severely ill or died is 5.7 percent, while that for the fully vaccinated is 1.1 percent, according to MOH. Enditem
