People bury the fallen soldiers killed in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in Yerevan, Armenia, Nov. 20, 2020. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a joint statement on Nov. 10, agreeing on a complete cease-fire in Nagorno-Karabakh. A key element of the joint statement was the deployment of a Russian peacekeeping contingent along the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh and the Lachin corridor.
