Israeli PM announces "full peace deal" with UAE

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday his country and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) reached "a full and official peace deal."

In a broadcast press conference, Netanyahu said the move "opens a new era" of cooperation between the two countries and hailed it as "a historic moment of a breakthrough towards peace in the Middle East."

The agreement was announced following a telephone talk earlier on Thursday held by U.S. President Donald Trump, UAE Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Netanyahu.
