RIYADH, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- Saudi-led coalition involved in a war in Yemen foiled on Friday two Houthi attacks, Al Ekhbariya local TV reported.

The coalition destroyed a bomb-laden boat in the southern the Red Sea. It also intercepted a bomb-laden drone launched towards Saudi Arabia.

The two attacks launched on Friday morning were part of a series of missile and drone attacks that targeted various areas in Saudi Arabia, mainly border cities.

Most of these attacks were foiled before reaching their targets.

The coalition will complete in March its sixth year of war in Yemen against Houthi militia in support of the government of the Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi. Enditem
