BEIRUT, May 12 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon registered Wednesday 703 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of infections to 534,388, the Health Ministry reported.
Meanwhile, the number of deaths from the virus increased by 22 to 7,549.
The Health Ministry reported the rate of positive COVID-19 PCR tests stands at 7.3 percent compared to 14.8 percent one month ago.
