DAMASCUS, July 22 (Xinhua) -- A fresh Israeli missile strike targeted positions in Syria's central province of Homs after midnight, state news agency SANA said.
The attack targeted the Qusair area in the countryside of Homs, it said, adding that the Syrian air defenses intercepted several missiles.
The attack was the latest in a string of Israeli shellings in Syria.
