PYONGYANG, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Correspondents of five international TV stations arrived Thursday at Pyongyang Sunan international airport in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
The TV crews, which were invited to broadcast the planned destruction of the key facility at the Yongbyon nuclear complex, were from five countries, which are involved in the nuclear talks with the DPRK, namely China, the United States, South Korea, Japan and Russia.
Among them are CCTV from China, CNN from the U.S., TBS from Japan, RTR from Russia and MBC from South Korea.
The cooling tower to be destroyed was part of the 5 Megawatt electric reactor at the Yongbyon nuclear complex.
It was scheduled to be toppled in 24 hours after the DPRK submits a declaration of its nuclear inventory and the U.S. accordingly removes it from its terrorism and sanctions blacklists.
