People watch a TV report on the launch of an earth observation satellite by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), in Seoul, South Korea, April 13, 2012.

An earth observation satellite launched by the DPRK earlier Friday morning failed to enter orbit, and scientists and technicians are now looking into the cause of the failure, the official KCNA news agency reported.
