Recent photos from North Korea's official news agency KCNA show top leader Kim Jong-un leaving a luxury yacht, mysteriously docked at the ‘August 25th Fishery Station.'

The KCNA released a photograph of Kim on May 28 that showed him walking along a dock with the starboard side of a luxury boat visible to the right of the picture.

Kim Jong-un reportedly toured the country’s east coast last month in the 95-foot luxury yacht that could be prohibited under UN sanctions imposed for the country’s nuclear and missile tests.

The image of a luxury yacht in North Korea might take some by surprise, given that UN Security Council blocked the sale of ‘luxury goods’ to North Korea in 2006. Last year a South Korean newspaper reported that young leader Kim Jong-un had dramatically increased the amount of luxury goods imported into the country.

A website that tracks events in the North said that the yacht, a Princess 95MY, was possibly a recent acquisition, although it had no evidence for when the boat was purchased.
