A railway line in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has been partially reopened after being blocked by a landslide.

Northbound services on the Litang to Zhanjiang section of the rail line linking Guangzhou with Chongqing resumed early Tuesday morning. The southbound line is still under repair.

On Monday, heavy rains triggered landslides which delayed repair work. Seven people were slightly injured when the locomotive and six carriages were derailed by the landslide.
