Bangladeshi leaders condemn deadly terrorist attacks in France

DHAKA, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Bangladeshi President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh have condemned the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris that has killed more than 100 people.

"I am deeply shocked by the series of terrorist attacks in Paris that killed so many innocent people and left many others injured," Hasina said in her message to the French president on Saturday.

"I, along with the people and the government of Bangladesh, strongly condemn these acts of terror and stand in solidarity with the people and the government of France," she said.

"Terrorists are terrorists irrespective of their colour, creed or religion and must have no place in any civilized society."

" We are together in our fight against terrorism and violent extremism."

"I express our deepest condolences to you and through you to the people of France our thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families. May the departed souls rest in eternal peace," she said.

In a separate message to the French president, President Md Abdul Hamid has also expressed his deepest shock over the horrific incident.

The president also prayed for the souls of the slain victims and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members.
