PHNOM PENH, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen visited French Embassy on Monday to pay his last respects to the victims in last week's terrorist attacks in Paris.

At the embassy, the prime minister wrote in a condolence book, expressing his deepest sympathy to the dead in the barbaric attacks.

"Cambodia strongly condemns the dreadful terrorist attacks at many places in Paris on Nov. 13, 2015 that left hundreds of innocent French citizens dead and injured," he wrote in the book. "We have to join together to smash this terrorist group."

"At the sorrowful moment of the French people, on behalf of the government and people of Cambodia, I would like to express my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims," he wrote.

At least 132 people were killed and more than 200 injured in six coordinated attacks Friday night in Paris.
