Patrick McGoohan, the Emmy-winning actor who created and starred in the cult classic television show "The Prisoner," has died. He was 80 years old. He was most famous as the character known only as Number Six in "The Prisoner," a sci-fi tinged 1960s British spy series. In more recent years, McGoohan appeared as King Edward Longshanks in the 1995 Mel Gibson film "Braveheart."

John Mayer and CBS are rumored to be close to a deal for a music and variety TV show. Mayer and CBS have worked together before. In 2006, he made a cameo appearance on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and might also appear on next month's Grammy Awards on CBS: where he's up for five prizes.

Jennifer Hudson has signed on to perform at the Super Bowl. She will be singing "The Star Spangled Banner" for the biggest American football game of the year on February 1st. This performance marks her return to the spotlight following the slayings of her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew. Her estranged brother-in-law has been charged in the October killings.

Coming off big wins at the Golden Globes - stars of "Slumdog Millionaire" Freida Pinto and Dev Patel were guests on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. The rising stars talked about Ellen's favorite subject, dancing. And in typical Ellen style - the host managed to get cast, crew and audience on stage to dance to some Bollywood music.
