Hollywood's power women; Braxton broke

Hollywood is well represented on Forbes magazine's list of the world's most powerful women. Among the celebrities making the grade include talk show queen Oprah Winfrey at No. 3, pop singer Lady Gaga No. 7, and Beyonce Knowles coming in at No. 9. The annual list is based on wealth, creative influence and entrepreneurship.

A documentary film to be aired on British television this month will examine what might happen if Prince Harry, Queen Elizabeth's grandson, was kidnapped while on military duty in Afghanistan.

"The Taking of Prince Harry", which will air on Channel 4 on October 21, has come under strong criticism for what some see as its bad timing and bad taste.

Grammy-winning singer Toni Braxton has filed for bankruptcy again. The financially troubled singer, who has sold more than 40 million records in here career, reportedly owes between 10 and 50 million dollars (USD), according to the online celebrity website Braxton previously filed for bankruptcy in 1998.

A set of John Lennon's fingerprints that was set to be auctioned for at least 100,000 dollars (USD) has been seized by the FBI. The 1976 signed application for Lennon's U.S. citizenship was one of the hallmarks of about 850 celebrity items in an online sale timed around Lennon's 70th birthday on Saturday (October 9). The singer was investigated in the 1970's for his anti-war activities. According to the auction house, the FBI was concerned whether the card had been part of his official file and was lost or missing.
