Cylinder blast kills one, injures 5 in Pakistan's Lahore

ISLAMABAD, June 8 (Xinhua) -- A cylinder exploded in east Pakistan's Lahore city on Monday, leaving one person dead and five others injured, official Associated Press of Pakistan reported.

The explosion occurred at a liquefied petroleum gas station in the densely-populated area of Samanabad in Lahore, capital city of Punjab province, said the report.

The five injured were in critical condition and rushed to hospital for treatment.
