3 killed in explosion in southwest Somalia: media

MOGADISHU, May 28 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and seven others were injured in a bomb explosion in Baidoa town, southwest Somalia, on Friday, according to the country's state radio station.

State-owned Radio Mogadishu reported that the explosion struck shortly after midday at a crowded market in central Baidoa.

The government troops rushed to the scene and conducted investigations to ensure the security of the market.

No group has claimed responsibility for the latest attack in Baidoa. Enditem
