Postal Savings Bank of China net profit up 5.38 pct in 2020

BEIJING, April 3 (Xinhua) -- The Postal Savings Bank of China, one of the country's state-owned banks, saw its net profit up 5.38 percent year on year in 2020.

The lender raked in 64.32 billion yuan (about 9.8 billion U.S. dollars) in net profits, according to its annual report.

The total assets of the bank stood at 11.35 trillion yuan at the end of last year, and its total revenue rose 3.39 percent to hit 286.2 billion yuan.

In 2020, the bank's non-performing loan ratio was 0.88 percent, according to the report.

The bank has provided targeted financial services to support the poverty-alleviation campaign, with related total outstanding loans reaching 100.5 billion yuan by the end of last year. Enditem
