DALIAN, China, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Wuhan Zall was held by Shijiazhuang Ever Bright in the first leg of the Chinese Super League relegation play-offs on Saturday.

With both teams playing a cautious first half, only Brazilian Baptistao came close for Zall, but pulled his shot wide in the 16th minute.

Ever Bright threatened when striker Oscar burst into the box in the 73rd minute, but his shot sailed over the crossbar.

Zall enjoyed over 60 percent of ball possession in the game but recorded no shots on target.

The second leg will be played on Nov. 11, with the winner on aggregate playing against the runner-up of China League One, the second-tier football league, to avoid relegation. Enditem
