RIO DE JANEIRO, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Juventus are close to signing highly-rated Santos teenager Kaio Jorge, according to reports in the Brazilian press.
Jorge's contract with the Brazilian top flight club is due to expire in December, meaning he could join the Italian Serie A side on a free transfer in January.
However, the Uol news service said Santos are keen to negotiate a deal with another suitor during the current European transfer window to avoid losing the 19-year-old for nothing.
Other clubs that have reportedly shown interest in the attacker include AC Milan and Benfica.
Jorge has made 79 first-team appearances for Santos and scored 17 goals since his professional debut in 2018. Enditem
