CHICAGO, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Seven people were shot at a funeral home in Milwaukee in the U.S. midwest state of Wisconsin on Wednesday noon, local media has reported.
The victims, aged from 24 to 48, were taken to hospital and are all in stable conditions, Milwaukee Police Department Acting Chief Michael Brunson said at a news conference on the scene.
Police are searching for an unknown shooter and have asked anyone with information on the shooting to call Milwaukee police.
The shooting happened during a funeral for a homicide victim killed earlier this month. Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett described the crime as a drive-by shooting, local media reported.
