BEIJING, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted 98 km NE of Atka, Alaska at 7:13 p.m. local time on Tuesday (0413 GMT on Wednesday), the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 254.0 km, was initially determined to be at 52.871 degrees north latitude and 173.26 degrees west longitude.
