JAKARTA, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- Chairman of the Indonesian COVID-19 Task Force and Chairman of the National Disaster Management Agency Doni Monardo on Saturday announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
"Last night I conducted a PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test. This morning I got a positive result for COVID-19 with a CT (cycle threshold) value of 25," said Monardo.
Despite being infected by COVID-19, Monardo said he did not feel any symptoms.
Currently, Monardo is conducting self-isolation while monitoring the handling of COVID-19 and disasters in several regions in Indonesia. Enditem
