YANGON, April 28 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar reported one more COVID-19 death and 12 new infections in the past 24 hours, the Health and Sports Ministry said in a release on Wednesday.
The total number of positive cases rose to 142,790 while the death toll reached 3,209, according to the ministry.
Four more patients have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the number of recoveries to 131,955 so far.
A total of 1,735 samples were tested Wednesday, down from around 10,000 samples tested daily in early February. Enditem
