Jiangsu advances into finals after edging Shanghai in Chinese Super League

SUZHOU, China, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- Jiangsu Suning booked a ticket into the Chinese Super League finals after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Shanghai SIPG in overtime here on Monday.

The intense game saw Shanghai break the deadlock in the 25th minute, as Aaron Mooy came from the right with a cross into the box and the clearance from Jiangsu's Wu Xi turned into an easy volley chance for Yang Shiyuan.

Jiangsu came from behind in the 77th minute, with Wu's left-foot tap-in after Tian Yinong kicked a long-range pass into the box, hauling the team level going into extra time.
