RIYADH, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- China's company Whale Cloud signed with Saudi Arabia's Shamas Holding Company a partnership deal here on Wednesday to launch 13 digital media projects with a budget of 600 million U.S. dollars, according to Sabq electronic newspaper.
The partnership is expected the revenue of around one billion U.S. dollars in the coming three to five years, it said.
Whale Could, a pioneer company in digital clouds and technologies, will help the Saudi company in the development of its Saudi Media City. Several technologies, including security smart parking, cloud data, will be implemented in the city.
The two partners will also promote the development of the media industry in the Middle East and North Africa region with the latest digital cloud techniques, multimedia and smart technology to provide high-quality Arabic media content. Enditem
