SHENYANG, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- China's Liaoning Province reported two locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases on Thursday, the provincial health commission said Friday.
Both cases were identified in the provincial capital Shenyang.
On Thursday, the province also reported an imported COVID-19 case in the city of Yingkou.
By Thursday, the province had 71 confirmed cases in hospitals. Another 26 asymptomatic carriers were under quarantine and receiving treatment, according to the commission.
Liaoning had reported 377 confirmed cases as of Thursday, including 72 imported cases. Among them, 304 had been discharged from hospitals.
