NANJING, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- East China's Jiangsu Province reported 30 new locally transmitted confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, the provincial health commission said Sunday.
Fourteen of the cases were reported in Nanjing, the provincial capital, 12 in the city of Yangzhou and four others in the city of Huai'an.
Nanjing has reported a total of 204 locally transmitted confirmed cases since new cluster infections began to emerge on July 20.
At present, there are 254 confirmed COVID-19 cases still hospitalized in Jiangsu, including 242 locally transmitted cases. There are also 18 asymptomatic cases under medical observation, among whom three are locally transmitted. Enditem
